New accounts now verify their email address. You get a verification link the moment you sign up, so nobody can register the grid with an address that is not theirs.

You can now choose whether we may email you about the game. Race reminders, daily challenges, championship deadlines and lost records are off unless you ask for them: there is an optional, unticked box on the sign-up form, and the same switch under Email in your profile settings.

Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, plus the one-click unsubscribe button Gmail and other mail apps show at the top of a message. Account emails such as login codes, password resets and address changes always arrive regardless.

A dedicated unsubscribe page that confirms which address you are turning off, and tells you the account emails keep coming.

Emails now carry the ApexMidnight logo and read better across mail apps.

"Someone beat your lap record" mail now respects your email preferences and a quiet period, so a busy circuit no longer floods your inbox. The Rivals board still shows every record change.

Tighter anti-cheat on race results: a finishing time is now rejected unless enough real time has actually passed to have driven it, so payouts and podiums can no longer be claimed with an impossibly early finish.

The achievement roster now numbers a full 100. On top of the new endgame milestones (win 500 or 1000 races, finish 1000 races, reach level 100, own 50 or 100 cars, splatter 1000 animals), dozens more tiers fill in every ladder: intermediate win, finish, level, rating, garage and circuit goals, plus deeper drift, pickup, collision, EMP, respawn, wrong-way and per-species hunting targets.

Your garage now has a limited number of slots (you start with 5). Buy more slots with Apexons in the shop when you want room for a bigger collection, with each extra slot costing a little more than the last.

Optional Apexon wagers on ghost challenges: stake Apexons when you race a rival's ghost and win double if you beat their lap, or lose your stake if you fall short. Racing a ghost with no stake works exactly as before.
