Cookie Policy
How and why ApexMidnight uses cookies in your browser.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember things about your visit, such as keeping you signed in. ApexMidnight uses cookies to run the core features of the game.
2. Cookies we use
- Session cookies keep you signed in while you play and connect you to your driver profile and lobbies.
- Security cookies protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and help keep your account safe.
- Preference cookies remember basic settings so the game behaves consistently between visits.
- Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics, but only after you accept analytics in our cookie banner. They help us understand how players use the game, such as which pages are visited, through cookies named
_gaand_ga_<id>that expire after up to two years. We never set them unless you opt in.
The session, security, and preference cookies are strictly necessary for the game to work and cannot be turned off. Analytics cookies are optional and only set with your consent. We also use Plausible Analytics, which measures aggregate traffic without using any cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. Managing cookies
You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time through our cookie banner, and control or delete all cookies through your browser settings. Please note that the session and security cookies cannot be turned off, because without them you will not be able to sign in or play.
4. More information
