The Best Cars Overall, Ranked by Performance Index
If you want the most capable cars on the roster regardless of where their strength lies, rank by Performance Index. The PI rolls power, handling and top speed into one number, so the top of this list is the most complete machinery available.
The list below is ranked live from the current roster by PI. Click any car for its full stats, and remember that the best car for a given track still depends on the track.
Ranked live from the in-game performance model, not a static spec sheet. Updates automatically as the roster changes.

When the highest PI is the right pick
A high PI car is a safe default when you do not know the track or just want raw capability. It will be strong almost everywhere. But on a very tight, technical circuit, a lower PI car tuned for handling can still beat it, because PI rewards total capability rather than fit for a specific layout.
Use this list to find the strongest all rounders, then check their individual stats against the kind of track you race most.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the highest Performance Index car the best for every race?
- Not always. PI measures total capability, so a high PI car is a strong default, but a lower PI car tuned for handling can be faster on tight, technical circuits where top speed barely matters.
- How is the Performance Index calculated?
- It combines a car power, handling and top speed into one number. Raising any of those through tuning raises the PI, which is why cars are grouped into classes to keep races fair.
